Beyoncé Hopes to Open Dance Studio

Singer says she wants to keep the arts alive.

Beyoncé Knowles has accomplished nearly every major goal for an entertainer.  Record-breaking sales, multiple Grammy wins, a Golden Globe nomination and bonafide stardom—all by the age of 30.  Bey's next step?  The pop diva has unveiled plans to open a dance school.

The Houston native made the declaration in her cover story for In Style magazine, "I want to someday open a dance school for young kids. I want to do whatever I can to keep the arts in schools." Bey flourished at schools that were geared toward the arts—including the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston. Therefore, it makes sense that the former Destiny’s Child front woman would want to lend her efforts to promote dance and music programs.  Think Fame, but "Bey style."
