President Obama has a lot of "pull" with musicians and Aretha Franklin is proving to be one of his biggest fans.

Returning to her hometown of Detroit, Franklin is scheduled to perform this Monday, September 5, at Obama’s Labor Day Rally at Hart Plaza. She is expected to sing three of her classic hits, including “Chain of Fools,” Billboard reports.

In related news, the White House admits Obama’s Kenyan uncle has been detained in Massachusetts as an illegal immigrant. The Washington Times says he was initially arrested for drunken driving while cruising through a Boston suburb.

The White House's press secretary says that although the Prez’s uncle is fighting deportation to Kenya, “We expect it to be handled like any other immigration case.”
