Another star-studded project has been added to the lineup of the 15th Annual Urbanworld Film Festival.

The Mario Van Peebles-directed film All Things Fall Apart will be screened. Starring Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson in a “transformative role” as a star college football player, the film’s screening will take place Friday, September 16 at 7:30pm. The event will be followed by a Q&A with director Peebles and actress Lynn Whitfield

All Things Fall Apart will join a diverse slate of nearly 60 films being featured at the New York-based festival. Among the projects being showcased at Urbanworld will be the Ice-T-produced documentary Planet Rock: The Story of Hip Hop and the Crack Generation as well as the Omar Epps-produced documentary You, Me & the Circus.

The Urbanworld Film Festival will take place September 14−18 at New York City’s AMC 34th Street movie theater.
