Will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson are joining the world of talent-finding reality TV, becoming part of the all-star lineup of mentors on The Hub’s new music series Majors & Minors.

The show follows the journey of 12 young performers, ages 1016, as they are mentored by some of the most successful artists and coaches in the music industry. Each mentor will provide guidance to the cast as they begin their road toward individual stardom. No one is ever voted off, but one lucky “star-in-the-making” will win a recording deal with Boardwalk Records/RCA Records and an opportunity to be featured in a cross-country concert tour.

Will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson will be among the star-studded team of mentors, which also includes Adam Lambert, Leona Lewis, Colbie Caillat, Avril Lavigne, Sean Kingston, Jordin Sparks and Brandy (who also serves as a producer on the show).

Majors & Minors will premiere Friday, September 23 at 8 pm (ET).
