Audiences can’t get enough of the life and times of the famous acting twins.
After years of starring in the popular sitcom Sister, Sister when they were preteens, Tia Mowry Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley are enjoying even bigger success as adults in their own reality series.
The Style Network has renewed the reality show Tia and Tamera for a second season, according to Deadline. And there are plenty of good reasons why; the show, which premiered August 8, was the network’s most watched original series in history — 750,000 viewers tuned in. Then,Tia and Tamera did even one better the following week, the docu-series enjoyed an audience of 920,000 viewers — which ended up being The Style Network’s most watched telecast ever.
This time around the successful sister duo are also helping run things behind the camera as well as executive producers. Also, let’s not forget that Tia is enjoying a double TV success story, she’s also the star of BET’s hit comedy The Game.
Season two of Tia and Tamera, which will chronicle Tia’s juggling act as a working new mom and Tamera’s life as a newlywed, is scheduled to start production later this year.
The Tia and Tamera season one finale airs October 8.
