The wide receiver may be in a lot of trouble for eight pounds.
After a two-day investigation that started in California and ended in Jerome Simpson’s Crestview, KY, home Yahoo! Sports reports the police tracked 2.5 pounds of marijuana to the baller’s residence after a woman named Aleen Smith signed for it.
Although Simpson had another six pounds stashed away in the house, along with scales and packaging materials, he allowed the police search his home.
Simpson and his teammate Anthony Collins weren’t arrested but they were detained. The head of the government-funded National Marijuana Initiative believes Simpson’s residence was set up for distribution.
