Tracy Morgan and Rosie Perez in New Movie and TV Roles

Morgan stars with Al Pacino in "Son Of No One" and Perez in "Nurse Jackie."

Two very familiar faces will soon be headed to a movie theater and TV screen near you.

Tracy Morgan will be putting the funny on pause in the new cop drama Son of No One. The film stars Tatum Channing as a policeman assigned to a precinct in his working class neighborhood, but has an old secret that threatens to shatter his life and family. Morgan stars the policeman’s best friend, “Vinnie.” While the 30 Rock star gets top billing in the ensemble tale that also stars Al Pacino and Ray Liotta, word is he’s barely featured in the movie, which opens November 4.

Rosie Perez is headed back to television and will soon be seen on the Emmy-winning Showtime series Nurse Jackie. The Oscar- and Emmy-nominated actress checks into All Saints Hospital as the character "Jules," a patient who develops “an unusual diagnosis.”

Production has just begun for season four of the dramedy, which stars Edie Falco, a drug-addicted nurse. Be sure to look for Perez on Nurse Jackie when it returns in 2012.
