Rappers, Artists, and Celebrities to Celebrate High School Graduates

The goal is to encourage students to pursue higher education.

Rapper, artists, and celebrities will participate in the 3rd annual "I Will Graduate Day Celebration" in New York City to encourage students to pursue higher education. Rappers Jim Jones and Maino, TV and radio personality Sway Calloway, and 106 & Park's Terrence J. are just a few of the people who will be on hand alongside community leaders and beaming parents.

“We have received tremendous support from New York City and school officials, community organizations, schools, parents, civic leaders and community leaders. We are confident that through our collective efforts, the dropout rate will continue to decrease,” says Tonya Lewis, Executive Director of Entertainers 4 Education Alliance.

The "I Will Graduate Day Celebration" will take place October 26 at the Fashion Institute of Technology's Haft Auditorium. For more information, visit iwillgraduateday.com.
