In a 911 call, his assistant says he attempted suicide.
Earlier in October, Terrell Owens was admitted to an L.A. hospital due to an apparent overdose.
TMZ now has the alleged phone call made to 911, right before he was rushed to the hospital on October 6.
On the audio, a woman says, “My boss took four prescription pain pills. I just don’t know how many he’s taken about 30, 45 minutes ago.” She describes the 37-year-old as barely breathing.
When asked by the 911 responder if it was a suicide attempt, the woman responds, “Yes, I believe so.”
Owens has been out of work healing from a torn ACL and was recently seen on The T.O. Show getting emotional over his money woes.
