The actress rear-ended another on a freeway last year.
Actress Regina King is being sued over an accident she was involved with last year. The plaintiff Daina Quinones claims that King rear ended her on a freeway on July 9, 2010 and caused at least $25k in damages.
Court documents state that "King-Desdune noticed that traffic ahead was slowing down, but said Defendant was negligently unable to slow her vehicle in time and the front of her vehicle collided violently and forcefully with the rear of Quinones vehicle...plaintiff's vehicle suffered major damage suffered major damage and was a total loss as a result of the physical damage to the vehicle. At the scene of the accident the Plaintiff complained of pain to her neck and stated she would seek medical aid immediately."
The lawsuit also claims that the California Highway Patrol "indicated primary collision factor as a violation of speeding by King-Desdune."
Quinones wants to be compensated for wage loss, medical expenses, and unspecified damages.
