Nick Cannon Accuses L.A. Cops of Racial Profiling

The star feels harassed for being "a Black man in a nice car."

Nick Cannon was pulled over by cops in Los Angeles in the early hours of Thursday morning, reports the SF Gate, and the incident spurred his beliefs that he's the subject of racial profiling by the LAPD.

After being released with a warning for the unknown violation, Cannon took to Twitter to vent his frustration. “Just got pulled over again. For the 1st time ever… The Cop let me go! He was a black man! ‘Preciate it Brotha (sic)!!" he tweeted, hopefully not while driving.

Later, Cannon fired off another tweet: “Growing up, I never liked Cops. Always felt they were bullies… At age 13 a Cop pulled me over on my bike with his gun drawn. What the hell did he think I was going to do?!"

And later still, he added: “Now in LA I get pulled over like once a week. Honestly, I think it’s because I’m a Black man in a nice car.”
