This romantic drama—starring, written, produced and directed by Perry—opens in theaters February 24.
Tyler Perry seems to have caught a love bug lately, hanging up the Madea mumu for projects focused on dating and relationships. His first film of the new year is Good Deeds, a romantic drama due in theaters February 24, 2012.
Perry is wearing several hats in Good Deeds: writer, producer, director and star. The cast also includes Phylicia Rashad, Gabrielle Union, Beverly Johnson, Rebecca Romijn, Brian White, Thandie Newton and Eddie Cibrian.
Later this year, Perry will romance moviegoers into theaters withThe Marriage Counselor (Jurnee Smollett, Lance Gross, Kim Kardashian, Brandy, Vanessa Williams), based on his tenth play, which began touring in 2008.
