The former heavyweight champion will perform in a six-night multimedia presentation of his life, written by playwright Randy Johnson and co-written by Tyson’s wife Lakiah. In addition to Tyson telling stories from his personal life and career, the show will include video, live music and photo flashbacks. One involved producer, Adam Steck, told The Las Vegas Review-Journal "nothing's off limits."
MGM Grand is reportedly considering extending the show if it proves to be a hit, and its writer already has hopes of taking it even further. Johnson told the LA Times blog when the Vegas run is over, “we'll review what happened, look at the next steps, and move forward. The hopes for this are to tour the world — the fan base is staggering."
