For the third week in a row, audiences are still hungry for The Hunger Games. The fantasy epic topped the box office again with another $35.5 million in ticket sales, bringing its grand total to $302.8 million in just 17 days, the fastest ever for a non-summer, non-holiday title.
Raunchy comedy American Reunion came in second place with a decent $21.5 million, which is not bad after the franchise's nine-year hiatus from the big screen. James Cameron's Titanic 3D came in third, with a gross of $17.4 million.
Next week, The Three Stooges will duke it out with horror-thriller The Cabin in the Woods.
