The World War II epic is out on DVD now.
Missed Red Tails in the theater, or just ready for a second viewing? The World War II epic about the brave Tuskegee Airmen who are finally sent into combat in Italy dropped on DVD last week (just in time for Memorial Day), and now we've got an exclusive clip with co-stars Nate Parker and Tristan Wilds.
Red Tails was produced by filmmaking legend George Lucas, who had been developing the story since 1988 and fronted most of the production budget out of his own pocket after studios turned down the project, claiming there was no market for a historical drama with an all-Black cast. The film's $50 million-plus box office proved them wrong.
