“We didn’t get to a point when they said, ‘Oh, let’s just do Black movies,” Lucas told the New York Post. “But every time you poke ‘em, it makes an effect.” The Star Wars director says the film had the biggest impact on moviegoing audiences. “It had an affect on a lot of kids and adults. Viola Davis should take pride in her latest film role. The Oscar-nominated actress has just been added to the cast of The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, one of the most highly anticipated and unique productions of the year. The two-film premise within a movie looks at a troubled marriage from both the husband's and the wife’s perspectives. Davis portrays a supporting role. There’s no word yet on the specific character she plays.
The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby is currently shooting in New York.
