Tameka Raymond Plans to Appeal Custody Ruling

Usher’s ex feels presiding judge was influenced by money.

Tameka Raymond will appeal the recent ruling which gave ex-hubby Usher full custody of their two children. Her argument will be that the judge was biased.

On Friday, we reported that Tameka lost her long legal battle when an Atlanta judge ruled in Usher's favor, granting him sole custody of their two young children.

But TMZ reports that sources close to Tameka say she thought the ruling wasn’t fair, especially after learning that the law firm representing Usher threw an election fund-raiser back in 2008 for the judge who presided over the trial. As a result, she feels that the relationship may have influenced the ruling.

The law firm, according to the campaign contribution report for Judge Lane, raised $1,278 for the judge in March 2008.

Tameka, sources say, was dumbfounded by the judge’s decision, especially since she argued in court that Usher is constantly on the road. Following her court loss, the distraught former Mrs. Raymond tweeted: "Money can buy many things... But in the end truth and goodness prevail."

Reportedly, Tameka is looking to fight the decision immediately and is interviewing lawyers for an appeal.
