Rihanna Donates 1,000 Sleeping Bags to Hurricane Sandy Victims

Rih Rih also turned album release party into fundraiser.

At least one thousand New Yorkers displaced by Hurricane Sandy will get a decent night's sleep, thanks to Rihanna.
The singer donated a thousand sleeping bags to the New York Daily News' relief drive. The newspaper delivered the sleeping bags to victims all over the city, many of whom are still unable to return to their homes.
But Rih Rih took her good deed a step further this week by transforming her upcoming album release party at Jay-Z's 40/40 club in New York City into a fundraising drive. To attend the free event, fans need to bring something to donate to relief efforts. Organizers are asking for badly needed basics, like diapers and wipes, coats and blankets and lots of cleaning supplies.
