Cops suspect beef between the comedian's entourage and other clubgoers.
There were one too many shots at Mike Epps's birthday party and we're not talking about tequila.
The Sparkle actor, who celebrated his 42nd birthday at Tru Nightclub in Hollywood, found himself in the middle of an argument between his entourage and various other clubgoers that resulted in gunfire.
Cops rushed to the club just after midnight, responding to call that a warning shot was fired inside following a heated argument between Epps' posse and other guests, according to TMZ. A police source says partiers rushed for the doors upon hearing the gunsho, and Epps had fled the scene by the time police arrived. Cops are currently investigating the situation and wish to speak with Epps as a witness.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt in the incident.
