Marriage is no laughing matter for comedian Aries Spears. The MADtv star is divorcing his wife of just over two years, TMZ reports.
Spears' wife, Elisa Larregui, filed for divorce this week after the couple separated on February 5. Larregui is seeking both legal and physical custody of their 3-year-old son, and wants Spears to be granted only monitored visitation rights.
Larregui and Spears married in December 2010. She cites "irreconcilable differences" on divorce papers as the reason for the split.
Meanwhile, another Hollywood couple, Josh Brolin and Diane Lane, also went bust. Married for eight years, the Gangster Squad star and actress Lane had a rocky start to their relationship. Lane filed charges for spousal battery just months after saying I do, but later dropped them.
