Jada Pinkett Smith will, once again, be making her presence felt behind the scenes in TV. She will be executive producing Queen Latifah’s new talk show.
The actress and Hollywood power player posted a picture of her and Latifah on Facebook announcing: “Wearing my Executive Producer hat, standing beside the next daytime talk show superstar.” The Queen Latifah Show is scheduled to debut September 16, 2013. Noting the daily airing, Jada finished her message by letting fans know: “You will be able to kick it with Queen Latifah every day.”
The Oscar-nominated hip hop icon is also helping build anticipation for her second chance at the talk show format. The homepage of her website is equipped with a clock counting the days until its debut. No word on who will be Latifah's first guest.
