Paris Jackson Leaves Hospital for Residential Treatment Facility

The 15-year-old continues to recover from June suicide attempt.

Paris Jackson's road to recovery will continue at a residential treatment facility, People.com confirms. Michael Jackson's 15-year-old daughter, who was hospitalized in June following a suicide attempt, has spent the last several weeks at the UCLA Medical Center.
The undisclosed facility where the teenager will continue to receive treatment was selected by her grandmother Katherine Jackson and biological mother, Debbie Rowe, a source says. The guardians followed the advice of Paris' doctors.
As for why she will continue to receive intensive treatment, "the feeling is that Paris is still a danger to herself," explained the source. "Both Katherine and Debbie want her to get the help that she needs."
According to sources, Paris has also been stripped of her smart phone and any other devices with access to the Internet and social media so that she can focus on her recovery, and be shielded from the sordid details emerging in the wrongful death trial her family has launched against AEG Live. Simultaneously, Jackson's estate is being sued by choreographer Wade Robson, who claims he was molested multiple times by the late pop icon when Robson was a child.
