Julianne Hough is apologizing for dressing up in blackface at a Halloween party Friday night. 
The Paradise star stirred up controversy after she showed up at a Beverly Hills bash as "Crazy Eyes," a character played by Uzo Aduba in the hit Netflix dramedy Orange Is the New Black. The actress faced a storm of backlash on social media after pictures of her in the costume were posted online. 

"I am a huge fan of the show Orange Is the New Black, actress Uzo Aduba, and the character she has created," Hough tweeted in response. "It certainly was never my intention to be disrespectful or demeaning to anyone in any way. I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize."

Hough isn't the first celeb to catch fade for the questionable decision to don blackface, though one would think she would know better by now.
