Madea fans, rejoice! Tyler Perry is back in drag as the outspoken grandmother in A Madea Christmas. The actor and director brings back his most popular character, this time as a department store employee who dispenses straightforward advice to everyone, naughty or nice.
Perry, along with his co-star Tika Sumpter, chat with us about the film, including Perry's decision to cast controversial web sensation Antoine Dodson. Perry also tells us what he believes would be Madea's reaction to same-sex marriage and a preview of what the bawdy matriarch's signature fragrance would smell like (hint: it involves honeysuckle and catfish).
Plus, Perry dishes on his long-standing dream to work with Diana Ross in one of his films. Maybe there will be a Christmas miracle for the creator of Madea after all?
Check out our exclusive interview with Tyler Perry and Tika Sumpter below and see A Madea Christmas when it hits theaters on Friday, December 13.
