Bobbi Kristina Brown doesn't seem to agree with her family on much these days, but the estranged relatives of Whitney Houston do see eye-to-eye on one thing: opposing the proposed Lifetime biopic on the late pop star.
A couple of days after Brown's aunt Pat Houston demanded the television movie, set to be directed by Angela Bassett, be called off and threatened legal action against the network if the project continued, the 21-year-old tweeted her own discontent over the proposed biopic. Sources claim the Houston estate had been planning their own film about Whitney, similar to Michael Jackson's This Is It.
"Any1 would or should EVER play my mother & tell OUR story, we've talked MANYtimes&1&ONLY person she approved of is ME. Understand that," Bobbi tweeted, adding, "TRULY understand ppl want 2love&honor#HERSTORY way they think should be told. But simply out of respect, All I ask isn't mucho lol."
Bassett became a personal friend of Houston's after they co-starred together in Waiting to Exhale. Still, it doesn't seem like she was able to get the Houston family's blessing when it comes to the biopic, which is meant to be her directorial debut.
