Djimon Hounsou on Mandela, Madonna and How to Train Your Dragon 2

The two-time Oscar nominee on his new film.

Djimon Hounsou is one of the most cerebral actors in Hollywood, and manages to bring in lessons about history and philosophy even when talking about an animated children's movie. The How to Train Your Dragon 2 star talks to us about who represents the "dragon" in his life, leading to a beautiful connection between Nelson Mandela and ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu.
The brainy — and beautiful — actor also shows us his lighter side by revealing how he told his four-year-old son Kenzo (with former partner Kimora Lee Simmons) that he would be playing the villian in the toddler's favorite movie franchise, and tells us which of his one-time music video co-stars, Janet Jackson or Madonna, is the bigger dragonslayer.
Plus, check out two of Great Britain's finest (and we do mean finest) exports, the swirl-loving Gerard Butler and Craig Ferguson, riff in our exclusive interview on who would win in a fight between Jamie Foxx or Idris Elba
How to Train Your Dragon 2 hits theaters today.
