Tamala Jones: Bill Cosby Disapproved of Booty Call

Says the embattled icon felt the film sent the wrong message about sex.

Castle star Tamala Jones had a brush with death when she suffered a brain aneurysm, and is now turning her near-tragedy into a cause for advocacy. In our exclusive interview, Jones recounts the frightening day when a persistent headache ended up with a trip to the hospital and a doctor telling her she was lucky to be alive.
Plus, the actress talks about Bill Cosby's disapproval of the classic comedy Booty Call, in which she starred opposite Jamie Foxx. "He felt that it was sending a message to young people that, 'go ahead and have wild sex.' I feel like he missed the point, maybe because of the title," she recalls. "We were not promoting for people to have wild sex, we were promoting safe sex."
