Khloe Kardashian Lets Twitter Know Fried Chicken Isn't a Black Thing

Picking on the Kardashians for pretty much everything has become a kind of internet sport, and reality TV's First Family are usually game for taking a few punches. But when some fans shaded Khloe Kardashian for "trying to be Black" after she posted a picture of herself and her crew eating Popeye's fried chicken to Instagram, she was not having it. We have to say, the youngest Kardashian makes some good points.

"Seeing some of the stories/comments in regards to my Instagram. How is any one 'trying to be black' because they are eating food?" she tweeted. "I wasn't aware that food was limited to a certain skin color…I thought food was not specific to skin color but to humans in general."
She then got deep with it, evoking the Bible to shut up her haters. “'To break bread together,' a phrase as old as the Bible, captures the power of a meal to forge relationships, bury anger, provoke laughter," she wrote.
Of course, her diet isn't the only reason people have accused Khloe (and several other Kardashians, for that matter) of appropriating Black culture. But in this particular case, Khloe can have her drumstick and eat it too.
