Ciara Dishes on Her Exercise Regimen

The star winds her way to a smaller waist.

For Ciara, maintaining her chiseled body doesn’t include any gimmicks, just hard work. While being honored for her efforts in providing awareness about safe sex at The Candie's Foundation 2011 Event to Prevent Benefit, the beauty revealed her exercise regimen and strict lifestyle.


CiCi hits up the gym for at least one hour five or six times a week and closely watches her diet. "85 percent of it is what you eat, and 15 percent of it is how you work out," she said. Ciara also reveals that her stage time is her biggest workout, and she encourages everyone to dance their way to a more lean body. "Dancing—however you do it, even if it's in your living room—is a great workout."


When she’s in full training mode, she gives up salt and eats five small meals a day. "No salt, low salt. It's strict, but when I follow those rules, I see results," Ciara told Women’s Health.
