Last week, the verdict was out when Solange Knowles took a page out of Janet Jackson’s ‘80s style handbook, but she seemed to find her rhythm again over the weekend when she went out to DJ a club set in London.

While partying across the pond, Solo reminded us how clever she can be with her use of color. She brought tan pants to life with a flirty orange top and added even more pops to the outfit with purple heels and an animal print bag.   

A punchy pink lip (we’re guessing Rimmel London, since she recently signed on to be the face of the brand) added another highlight, but the real icing on the look came from her swept-up hair. Finally, a modern twist to the Patra/Poetic Justice braids she’s added to her style file.
