Flowing gowns dominated the red carpet in Beverly Hills at last night’s premiere of The Help (starring Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer), but Lauren London and Garcelle Beauvais both stood out from the pack when they arrived in pants.
Pants aren’t the popular premiere choice for ladies, but they can be a fun alternative to the endless sea of dresses when they're executed well. Plus, celebrities must get tired of sitting in those frilly or body-hugging dresses in the movie theaters! Let’s see how these actresses took a breather in fancy pants.
Lauren London dressed up her textured, white skinny pants with a boyfriend blazer over a sheer top, satin heels, hoops and a ring.
Garcelle Beauvais opted for a burst of color in a canary yellow blouse with oversized, wide-leg blue slacks. She played up the color block look with a statement necklace, leopard belt, silver clutch and a cocktail ring.
