T.I.'s Clothing Line Skyrockets During Prison Stint
AKOO was all the rage while the rapper was behind bars.
T.I. may not have had the highest approval rating during his most recent prison stint, but his clothing line was high in demand! According to TMZ, a rep for AKOO clothing says the company’s sales soared by 25% in the last year, coincidentally, the same time T.I. was locked up.
The rep also revealed the company hadn’t seen such high sales since T.I.'s MTV reality show Road to Redemption premiered in 2009.
The rapper will officially complete his drug sentence next week and the company is bracing for another spike in popularity.
