The men dominated the black carpet at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards, which were taped on October 1, and it was exciting to see some of our favorite fellas styling on the big night.
Reed Between the Lines co-star Malcolm-Jamal Warner paused for pictures before hitting the stage with his co-star Tracee Ellis Ross to present the Best Collaboration award that went to Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne for “Look at Me Now.” The actor got his grown man on — amid the more casual outfits on the carpet — in a slacks and blazer getup that was still relaxed enough for the occasion, especially with his shoes. He could’ve buttoned that shirt up just one more button, but we do like the red pocket square for a finishing touch and pop of color.
With the NBA lockout still intact, Amar’e Stoudamire had time to jet to Atlanta for the festivities. The New York Knick shows the crowd who’s No. 1 with a letterman jacket that had his name on it, dark denim jeans (not too baggy, not too tight), shades and a pair of fresh Nike sneakers. We love how Amar’e can switch it up from laid back to dressed up without missing a beat.
