Melanie Brown is also the newest ambassador of Jenny Craig in both Australia and New Zealand. The singer made the announcement five weeks after the birth of her daughter Madison and has pledged to lose 30 pounds of pregnancy weight by the New Year with the help of the weight loss company.
“I love my humps and bumps, but when a newspaper described my shape as the 'bootylicious, curvylicious, post-baby body of Melanie, I knew I had to do something. I had to get the eating under control," the singer-turned-reality judge told press at a launch event.
"I have already been exercising but what I need is a little push to help me start eating sensibly," she said. "I really allowed myself the chance to pig out during this pregnancy, so I've got a bit of weight to lose.''
Brown bounced back after having her two other children Phoenix Chi, 12, and Angel Iris, 4, and in 2008 released a workout DVD called Totally Fit. She follows a long list of celebrities who have endorsed the company, including Queen Latifah and Phylicia Rashad.
