The feminine scent has a "defiant quality."
Rihanna will be releasing a sequel to her first scent "Reb'l Fleur" titled "Rebelle." Named after her grandmother's nickname for the singer, the new scent will appeal to both sensual and edgy sides.
"My new fragrance is about taking control but still being a lady. There's a feminine, romantic element to the fragrance — but there's also a defiant quality in it," Rihanna explains. "I love its duality."
The perfume is being described as musky with hints of coffee beans, amber and vanilla. The bottle shape, inspired by a stiletto heel, is similar to her first fragrance and has a crimson ribbon design with gold details embedded into the casing.
"Rebelle by Rihanna" will be available Spring 2012, but the singer has already started wearing the scent to generate buzz among those close enough to catch a whiff.
"Wore the sample last night," the pop star tweeted in May. "And all the fly girls wanted some."
