Rihanna to Executive Produce UK Fashion Reality Show

In her TV debut, Rihanna will make designers compete for the honor of creating one of her red-carpet looks.

Rihanna to produce reality UK fashion show

Rihanna is on the hunt for fresh, new designers to add to her closet. The style maven is ready for her TV show debut and will produce a 10-part fashion series where contestants will compete for the ultimate prize: the chance to design an outfit for the Talk That Talk singer to wear when she performs at the Wireless Festival in London in July.

The currently untitled fashion project is for Sky Living and is set to air in the UK this summer. British recording artist Nicola Roberts, who’s also hailed for being style-savvy, will serve as host, but Rihanna will be heavily involved in casting and post-production and will make some guest appearances throughout the show. During the season, contestants will be charged with creating outfits for other musicians and celebrities, amongst other challenges.

“I have been very fortunate to work with some truly amazing designers and stylists throughout my career, and they have been instrumental in making sure my creative vision reaches the stage,” said Rihanna in a statement. “I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts during the course of the show."
