Solange is the spokesperson for the “new movement” the brand will release this spring.
If you’ve ever contemplated “the big chop," growing out chemically processed hair, or ditching weaves and wigs for a more natural style, Carol’s Daughter is creating a destination chock full of inspiration and motivation for the journey.
The beauty brand has declared, “A new movement is coming spring 2012” and is launching a campaign focusing on transitioning to natural hair by way of a new website TransitioningMovement.com. The site will feature tips, product recommendations, photos, expert Q&A sessions and more. While no hard launch date has been announced, the site invites readers to sign up for a newsletter to be the first to know when it goes live, plus they’re already “calling all natural beauties” to submit pictures of their transitioned hair to be featured.
Check out a promo video on TransitioningMovement.com that features Carol’s Daughter spokeswoman Solange, who will also be the face of the new initiative, working it in her natural tresses to a remix of her song “Cosmic Journey” (how appropriate)!
