Last week, Figure Skating in Harlem held its annual Skating With the Stars Gala to benefit the organization. Olympic skaters, business and community leaders and celebrities like Vera Wang, Donald Trump, Kenneth Cole and Diana Ross attended and watched the girls from the skating group perform at the Trump Wollman Rink in New York City's Central Park.

In addition to honoring Vera Wang and Ellen Lowey and presenting Diana Ross's daughter Rhonda Ross, a Harlem artist and entrepreneur, with the Star Leadership Award, a silent auction will be running through April 17 to raise funds for the group.

Figure Skating in Harlem offers underserved girls between the ages of 6 to 18 with academic, skating, and fitness programs to instill confidence and help them become successful.
