Solange Brings Killer Style to Glamour France
Hot off her natural hair Twitter rant, Solange pops up in a jaw-dropping editorial for the July 2012 issue of Glamour France suited in fabulous designer threads. The eclectic deejay models an array of funky separates from Louis Vuitton, Burberry and Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren, accented with luxe accessories from Marni and Alexis Bittar.
In the accompanying interview, Solange let fans in about her style and fashion influences. “My style is very eclectic as I like to take risks, but I always cling to glamorous touches and classic details. I’m not necessarily inspired by magazines or fashion. I surf a lot of blogs and find it cool to see real style from real people. My travels also influence me. I always take lots of pictures, and then inject all those inspirations into my wardrobe, my home décor, or my makeup. And we can’t forget the icons: Diana Ross, Erykah Badu, Bjork and Lauryn Hill."
She may not be the VP of the natural hair movement but SolAngel is undeniably the queen of chic, off-kilter fashion. The cobalt tuxedo jacket and striped-mini number is an absolute fave and that Beyoncé-esque close-up where she’s rocking those brow-line frames is simply stunning. We salute you, Solange.
