Nicki Minaj's first fragrance, Pink Friday, launched on Monday and the rapper was on hand at Macy's in New York City's Herald Square for the occasion. The eccentric star wore a multicolored bra, striped leggings, a pink blazer and matching officer hat.
Her fragrance, a collaboration with Elizabeth Arden, comes packaged in a bottle shaped in the likeness of Nicki, complete with a pink wig, pink lip, full bust and gold "Nicki Minaj" nameplate. The scent itself contains a blend of fruit, vanilla, and musk.
"As a little girl growing up in Southside Jamaica Queens, if anyone would've told me I'd have my own perfume one day, and be able to inspire young Black girls everywhere, to go into Macy's or Nordstroms and see their face staring back at them–I wouldn’t believe them," Minaj said during her appearance on The View earlier that day.
The much-anticipated perfume is not Minaj’s first foray into the beauty biz. She has worked with MAC for their Viva Glam campaign and has also created a line of nail polishes with OPI.
