Can you imagine Selita Ebanks never walking a Victoria's Secret runway show again? Well, believe it. The model revealed to NYMag.com that she might pass up a chance at modeling the brand's lingerie at next year's fashion show. Ebanks added that each Angel that struts her stuff at the the annual event had to audition for the part and she didn't win a spot this time around.
"You have to show up in your panties, and you have to walk and be pleasant and say hi to everyone and hope that you’ve still got it. I didn't make it, go figure," she said.
But Ebanks isn't too sad about handing off the baton to other hopefuls when next year's casting rounds come back around.
"I've done, what, five, six shows? I've experienced my V.S. days," she said.
Would you miss seeing Ebanks as a Victoria's Secret's Angel or do you think she's right in moving on to seek out bigger and better? Sound off!
