The former NBA player will offer suit separates and sport coats in regular and Big & Tall sizes.
Shaquille O'Neal is expanding his brand with a new menswear collection being released exclusively through Macy's. The former basketball star has partnered up with Peerless Clothing for the new venture that will include suit separates and sport coats. Apart from offering a selection of patterns ranging from traditional looks to more modern styles, O'Neal also made sure to cater to men of all sizes.
"My interest in developing a menswear collection was based on the lack of fashion choices for Big & Tall customers and the higher prices for larger size suits," O'Neal said. "I also was frustrated that I had to go to a Big & Tall store rather than shop with my friends at the local department or specialty store. I originally wanted to develop a more fashion-forward menswear collection at an affordable price. Once Peerless and I developed the collection, the reaction from Macy's was so positive that we decided to make the collection in all sizes."
The Shaquille O'Neal collection will range in price from $150 for a pair of pants to $400 for a jacket and is set to launch mid-February at 100 Macy's stores nationwide and on macys.com.
