A Look Back at Kris Kross Fashion

We remember Chris Kelly and the fashion he helped inspire.

The Mac Daddies - Child rappers Chris Kelly ("Mac Daddy") and Chris Smith ("Daddy Mac") of Kris Kross had everyone wearing their clothes backwards during the '90s and jumpin' to their infectious beats. With the sudden passing of Chris Kelly on Wednesday at the age of 34, we take a look back at some of the duo's unconventional style.   (Photo: Chris Connor / WENN)

The Spark - So how did the fashion craze start? During an interview with Yahoo!, Kelly said, "It was kind of a collective idea. We was all just sitting around thinking of something to do different. It probably could have been Jermaine [Dupri] that said, 'Hey let's put our pants on backwards.' I was the first one to do it, and I'm still the last one to still be doing it. We went to the mall and got so much attention. We was like, 'Ok, this is it.' And it just went from there."   (Photo:  Martina Raddatz/Redferns / Getty Images)
