Fans of her reality show know that life with Tamar Braxton is never short on excitement, and her journey into motherhood is apparently following suit.

In the Aug. 12 issue of US Weekly, Braxton recalls the "circus"-like frenzy surrounding the birth of her first son, Logan, with husband Vincent Herbert on June 6. "Vincent had a Hugh Hefner robe on and was doling out orders to everyone," the 36-year-old TV star said of her husband of five years, adding that sister Toni Braxton offered "unsolicited advice on how to push."
Braxton, who is keeping busy as co-host of the new talk show The Real, says little Logan is a "perfect mixture" of his parents. Husband Herbert, a record executive who stars alongside his wife in WE tv's reality series Tamar & Vince, even played a big role in naming his son, drawing inspiration from a character on his favorite soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful. "There is a character named Brooke Logan, and we got Logan from her last name because we wanted the initials LV. Logan kind of stuck with us — we really like it," Braxton said.
What she wasn't prepared for, however, was the adjustment period following her little one's arrival. "I remember being shocked. I could not believe that this is my baby and I had to take this baby home with me," she said. "I remember not wanting to hold him at first because I was scared I was going to drop him, so Vincent did a lot of the holding because he was just so little and fragile. I was like 'Oh, my God, I'm going to break his bones."
One thing Logan doesn't take after from his mom is a spunky personality, at least not yet, she says. "He's quiet, so not like me at all," Braxton joked. "Very disappointing!" With a family as vivacious as the Braxtons, it's a safe bet that little Logan will be surrounded by lots of encouragement.
