T.I. Already Working On New Album For 2010

Having only been free for several weeks, T.I. is already crafting his 2010 release with the help of hip-hop producer, Jim Jonsin. Jonsin is responsible for TIP’s smash hit, “Whatever You Like” from the rapper’s previous multi-platinum selling opus, “Paper Trail.”

T.I. (born Clifford Harris), who was recently released from prison after a seven-month stint in an Arkansas facility for gun charges is ready to lock in with Jim Jonsin for the untitled project. Jonsin spoke exclusively with Rap-Up.com about T.I.’s 2010 efforts and how the Grand Hustle’s head honcho hasn’t missed a step.

“He was so upbeat, his spirits were up, and he’s excited to be out and working,” Jonsin explained of T.I.’s spirits. “He hasn’t changed, he sounded exactly like he did when I talked to him months before he went in…He’s back in the studio.”

As for a release date for the untitled set, nothing’s been confirmed from either party. However, Jonsin is almost sure Mr. Harris’ efforts will hit retail outlets later this year. “I sent him some music via email," he revealed. "He’s definitely working on an album for this year right now.”
