Grammy Awards Pay Tribute To Michael Jackson With 3-D Special Mini Movie

Music’s biggest night is set to pay tribute to music’s biggest star. On January 31, the Grammy Awards will pay homage to Michael Jackson with a star-studded performance and a 3-D mini movie of MJ’s “Earth Song” which was slated for the King of Pop’s “This Is It” concerts.

Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Usher, Smokey Robinson, and Celine Dion are all expected to perform a tribute to Jackson during the show. Details of the performance have yet to surface.

Co-executive Grammy producer and friend of Jackson, Ken Ehrlich offered, “It was one of the most important portions of the concert tour to Michael and when Michael saw the film for the first time at his last rehearsal, there were tears in his eyes.”

Target chains throughout the country will be distributing free 3-D glasses from January 24-31 so fans can enjoy the 3-D experience from home. The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will broadcast on Sunday, January 31st at 8PM on CBS live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
