L.A. Judge Clears Nas Of Contempt Charges
Queensbridge rapper Nas reached an agreement with an L.A. judge clearing him of contempt charges that were filed against him in February due to falling behid on child support payments.
Yesterday (April 14), the judge dropped the charges after Nas forked over $50,000 in child support payments to ex-wife, Kelis. Kelis' attorney filed charges in February after Nas fell behind $200,000 in spousal and child support payments.
Nas, who isn't caught up with his payments just yet, said in a statement, "All I want to do is make music and raise my kids. Nothing else matters.
