Suge Knight Arrested In L.A.

L.A. authorities arrested Death Row Records co-founder Marion "Suge" Knight in Los Angeles earlier this morning of May 20 (Thursday).

According to KTLA-TV footage, Knight's white Cadillac Escalade was swarmed by a dozen LAPD officers for unspecified reasons. Shortly after the former mogul was handcuffed and taken to the LAPD's Southwest Division.

Though authorities didn't give a reason for Knight's arrest, he was named a suspect in a 2009 armed robbery involving an L.A. Hip-Hop/R&B producer Noel "Detail" Fisher.

According to TMZ, Knight was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and driving with a suspended license. He is presently being held on $65, 000 bail.

Suge Knight's lawyers have yet to comment on the matter.
