Wiz Khalifa Addresses Amber Rose Rumors

So much for all those flirty tweets.

Wiz Khalifa is taking a page out of the celebrity handbook and denying being romantically involved with Amber Rose. When asked about the nature of his and Rose's relationship during an interview with Funkmaster Flex on New York's Hot 97, the "Black & Yellow" star said, "We currently cool.

Though they aren't an official couple, Wiz revealed that Rose met his mother in Pittsburgh at the AFC championship game between the New York Jets and the Pittsburgh Steelers nearly two weeks ago.

That was like a pretty good moment," Wiz told Flex. "We both travel a lot. I was on tour at the time. We’re both really, really busy, so, you know, it was convenient. It’s real current."

As previously reported, rumors of Wiz and Rose being a couple started when the two were spotted shopping in Los Angeles three weeks ago. Rumors spread further when they exchanged flirtatious tweets days later. Rose wrote, "My heart is with Cam," supposedly referring to Wiz's government name, Cameron, and the lanky MC replied that he wanted to take Rose out for some turkey burgers.

Talk of Wiz and Amber dating led former "Bad Girls Club" cast member Natalie Nunn, who had previously been linked to Khalifa, to record a 20-minute-plus rant dissing the new rumored "it" couple. Rather than jab back, Wiz admitted that he liked Nunn when he first met her.

I met her in Pittsburgh," he recalled. "She came to my city. She wasn’t lying about that. She was working and I came to check her out at her job. She was way cooler than she seemed on TV. I gave her the benefit of the doubt.”

To let Wiz tell it, Nunn made such a good impression that he didn't foresee the bad girl dissing him so bitterly. "I was nothing but nice to her," he said.

It was a good first meeting. She wasn’t mad at me when she first met me. Down the line…I don’t know where it got mixed up at. It was just real unfortunate because I’m such a positive person, so it kind sucked when I got on there and I seen her talking so bad. It was like, 'Dag. I go out of my way to be nice just to see somebody being so mean.’"
