Atlanta rap star Gucci Mane (real name Radric Davis) was arrested in Georgia on Friday. The troublesome rapper was detained while visiting his parole officer at the Georgia Department of Corrections Probation Office.
According to Fox5 Atlanta, authorities from the DeKalb County Fugitive Squad took Gucci into custody on a warrant that stated he “intentionally caused visible bodily harm to a female by pushing her out of a moving vehicle.”
Gucci was charged with battery for the alleged altercation with an unidentified woman. Though the crime is a misdemeanor, as a result of the arrest, the 30-year-old hip-hop star violated the terms of his probation. Gucci is currently on probation for previous unrelated charges that stem back to a 2005 arrest.
This past January, the rapper was committed to a mental institution for a brief stint following another parole violation.
